My son hit the right side if the screen with a ki
My son hit the screen with a wooden block and now there is about a 2 inch wide line going down the screen. Can this be fixed? If about how much?

@debz probably not. This sounds like a broken LCD screen. Post some images of hat your display shows so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that,
If it is the screen then there are only a few options. Screens that size are not readily available and if you do get lucky finding one it will cost more than a new TV. You can try and check places like craigslist, ebay etc and see if you can get the same make and model TV that is broken other than the screen. Harvest the screen from that. You can of course always try and do a search for a LCD. Use the tag from the back of the LCD panel to do the search. It will have the panel model number on it.
