My LG 10K has low memory

HELP! My phone LG 10K has very little apps. At one point I had more apps installed (FB, Messenger, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, etc...). I then started receiving notifications I had low memory. I couldn't update, receive email, or take pictures, and was running into problems with receiving text. I have removed virtually every additional app installed a SD Card and still have problems and low memory. I've wiped out the cache and deleted anything I can think of that's extra in my File Manager. I don't have any Widgets installed, nothing on my Home screen and STILL only have very little free space.

I currently have 466 MB available out of 16GB including 4GB SD card. I mainly have the factory apps installed, some I've disabled due to low memory, and only have Snapchat, a document scanner, and 2 kid games that are additional.

The system has it uses 6.18 GB, is that normal? Snapchat only uses 543 MB, the others only 226.74 MB, my Messages 1.23 MB & Gallery is 200 KB. It says Apps are using 4.40 GB but those are mainly the system Apps.

HELP! How to I fix it to free up space to allow updates, receive emails, text and have the typical apps on my phone?

The best way if you have the option is to get a larger SD card (32-64gb), and use the option "Format as internal storage".

If you have this option, it will combine internal storage space with the SD card, but you cannot remove the SD card after. However it will be your existing (8gb) + whatever you put in (32gb) usable as a single block of 40gb.

If you don't format as internal storage, you will not be able to store apps on the SD card.

I added a128gb SDXC card to my LG K10, but no option to format for internal storage. I can however use it to move apps onto. That freed up about 3gb of RAM for the system to use.
