Console makes start up sound, but does not turn on.

As well as flashing it's main power light. Was once left outside, in garage, for several months, and with luck it turned on.

Once on, it attempted an update, but malfunctioned when restarting to apply. Being able to start up only once.

At one point, recently, I was able to turn it on several times after reconnecting the blue ribbon, but again, the console started failing on start up, again. Was able to use the console all day before the ribbon fixing.

Now, it is still having the original issue of failing. Hope this is enough information to help.

Its got to do with something eternally, having it being in a garage for a long time it could of damaged a number of things in the system mainly the motherboard because some garages are not climate controlled. I would say the best bet is for someone to look at it reason being its going to be hard to determine what it is unless its looked at and tested in a number of ways.
