Water only fills for one minute

Hi. My Whirlpool WDT790SAYM3 dishwasher isn't filling with water. It only filled up for 15 seconds before shutting off. I was able to drain the water with no issues.

I just replaced the Water Inlet Valve. Now the water fills for approx. one minute before stopping. I can hear a few click inside the machine but the cycle doesn't continue.

I checked the float by raising it up and down and I hear the required "click" when I do so.

I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Sounding to me like a motherboard issue. How long ago did you purchase this unit? Have you had any issues before with it?

No issues at all. It;s just shy of 4 years old. I was thinking the same thing. The float should be fine since it clicks. Not really sure why the new inlet valve allows the water to enter much longer than the old one though. Thanks for answering.
