When I raise and lower my handle without a K-Cup in it, my Keurig doesn’t give me the option to dispense hot water anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this?

A Keurig 2.0 K250 model
If you leave a k cup out, choose your oz. 4, 8, or 10, shut the lid and press brew, will it dispense water that way?
Are you getting anything out of the Keurig? What about if you put a k-cup in? Or you just aren't getting a certain option on the screen?
I have the same issue. To answer Tony Stockton question #1, yes it will dispense hot water when there is no cup in the brewer. However, as Jord says, there should be a specific screen option when you leave a pod out and raise/lower the lid. It does this correctly on one of my brewers, but on the identical 2nd unit I have, it doesn't work correctly. Both are Keurig 2.0 K250's.
