Why will my Nook not allow me to browse or purchase in the shop?

Unable to buy or enter the shop on the Nook-wish to purchase and download book. Screen states, 2sorry a problem has occurred. Try again" Rest of Nook working perfectly. Any ideas greatly welcomed.
