switching screens on a iPhone 6

So I have an iPhone 6 that looks brand new the only thing wrong with it is my little brother reset it and forgot his Apple ID password so it’s useless. My iPhone 6 is shadered with glass missing all across the top. Witch has left my camera and speaker exposed. My camera is really blurry and you can barely hear. So I’m going to put my brothers iPhone screen on my phone. Sense my camera and speaker need to be replaced so I’m just gonna undo the cables and put his hole screen camera and speaker on my phone. Can I leave his home button on as well and my Touch ID still work or do I have to put the one from my old screen on it? Please let me know.

You need to use the same home button that came with your phone, using any other home button will not allow touch ID to work.

Follow this guide on how to remove the home button so you can use the same home button from the old screen to the replacement one:

So how do I do that? Like what all do I have to switch because I want my Touch ID to still work.
