Horizontal lines across the screen and not responding to touch.

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5C however one day it just started to having white lines horizontally across the screen and no longer responds to touch very well if at all. I know it's not the LCD as I have tried fitting another and it has the same issue and it's not due to being fitted incorrectly as the lines are horizontal and not vertical. The speaker also starts making a weird noise in time with the lines moving. Has anybody had this problem before and knows how to solve?

Thanks

My guess is damaged FPC LCD / digitizer screen connectors on the logic board. Other wise board damage like liquid damage or something faulty on the display circuit (data lines / I2C etc).

Thanks for your answer, I know for sure it's not liquid damage, has been acting funny today where I will get 10 seconds of perfect use then the lines will start again but if I lock it and unlock its fine for another 10 seconds. It kinda feels like static electricity, would this help to locate which chip it is?
