Problems after iPhone battery replacement—restarts and TouchID setup

I successfully replaced my battery using the guide. Unfortunately my phone restarted after some minutes. I thought it must be a kind of software bug so I did a full recovery. Big problem now is, the phone stucks when setting up TouchID or the phone-code in the initial wizard. Trying to use DFu-Mode did also not help. Any ideas what could be the reason for this?

How did you remove the battery? Did it come out nicely by using the adhesive pull tabs or did you have to pry it out of the housing?

When forced to pry the battery, it's important to fully remove the logic board otherwise you run the risk of accidentally damaging the logic board. There is also the risk of damaging the flex cables that run underneath he battery.

Finally I would check the condition of the Home Button, including the flex cable and the Link Extension cable that runs below the LCD shield plate.

Hi, I had to use some tools to release the battery. It did not come out easily.

Afterwards, I sold the phone as damaged. I heard, it was a software issue that could be fixed with a not free available tool.
