Why is the screen very dark

I need a part for the lamp that turns on the screen or makes it visible. They told me it is a part called ICES-003 for a 2002 Apple laptop. Can you help me find out more about this. Thanks,

DO you have more info on this? ICES-003 seems like a EMC requirement standard.
