New battery seems poor quality

I just bought a new ifixit battery for may macbook and installed it accoring to the ifixit manual. When starting up after the install everything seems ok, but the new battery drains quickly. When using a batterytool (coconut battery) I saw that the design capacity is only 26% (see attached image). I assume this is not normal. What should I do to to get this fixed?

Rob, it appears you received a faulty battery. This can happen from time to time so just give a call to the ifixit team and I'm sure they'll help you out. Or you can send them an email but phone calls tend to get you a replacement in a more timely manner.

Did they ever replace the battery for you?

I personally do not order batteries from ifixit, but the method to follow would be to contact them for the replacement.

Yeah. I had to reset something (don't recall what it was), but after that reset everything was ok.
