The brightness dial is blinking and the shutter wont trip HELP

I turned on my camera , then did everything according to the guide , but the adjustment lights are blinking . ALL OF THEM , and I pressed the shutter button but the number wont change and the camera is brand new , never used it , REALLY SCARED .
