Why wouldn't my Kodak pixpro Az252 turn on and it will not charge

So it was Christmas day when I paid money for this camera and I used it that day it died so I waited and then I used it again then it died and I'm like maybe I can just wait till tomorrow it been 3 days and all it does is blink a red light for one second the batteries are in right and I please get some help
