Is there any way to recover data with my phone locked in boot loop?

Okay, so my phone originally was stuck in it's activation lock, needing to get my information to start the phone. Well, I couldn't connect to any wifi or use cellular data so it stayed on that screen for awhile. I took it to a friend of mine who managed to get it on for a night and I'm forever shooting myself in the foot because we didn't back up the data. The phone appears to have a hardware malfunction, because it is now locked in boot loop. I don't know anywhere near as much as my buddy Chris, but I'm exploring all options. I just want to see if there's any way we can get this phone on long enough to recover the data. I'm talking about live videos of the Strokes, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Milky Chance, etc. The data from that phone means the world to me, if anyone could help me recover it I'd be forever grateful.
