Where to apply replacement adhesive strips?

Hi,

I ordered the battery replacement kit and have the battery replaced, seems to be fine. Cleaned up the edges of the screen and body, now want to install the adhesive strips.

Do I apply them to the screen or the body? There is no guidance within any of the iPad Air 2 guides, and the links referred to above are invalid...?

I know, I know, it seems pretty logical looking at it but I just would like to get it right as there's only one set of the strips...

Answer this question I have this problem too

I would probably just put them where the original ones were placed before you removed them.

Hilarious.

I'm quite aware of where they go, I'm asking for a hand in the orientation, and if they're easier to install by applying to the the screen or the body first. The guide gives no clues, unlike my iPhone 6s I just replaced the battery on.

The adhesive strips are these ones:

The centre one in particular is not easy to visualize the orientation to the components, the two sides are pretty obvious. Just wondering if there's a diagram somewhere.

I'm sure I can hack and slash my my through, but like all things, there's generally a best way. Was just hoping for someone who's done it before, not a smartass reply.
