TV looks like it burns out then black. Resets after rest. Heat issue?

Couldn't find the device above but it is a Dynex 32" TV with DVD player. Had it for over 5 years.

Starts up fine plays for a few hours then the images show you what happens after a while. Sound comes through fine no matter the case. Turning it on and off (and unplugging) doesn't do anything (except changes the picture). Only resting returns the picture, which is what leads me to believe that it is just overheating.

Not sure though, should I take it apart and clean out any, what I expect to be dust bunnies? If this is not the case, how do I fix, and/or is it worth fixing?
