Why is my unit wont start with the battery inserted and causes trouble

why is that my unit wont start with the battery inserted on it and causes trouble on its keyboard? The key wont function.

arvin.sevilleno double check your battery and see if it is swollen. This may prevent your keyboard from working. If your keyboard works with the battery removed, then the issue will most likely be resolved by replacing the battery.

@oldturkey03 even if I try to used the ac adaptor direct to the unit still the keyboard is not working. . .thank you for your recommendation. . .this helps a lot. . .

arvin.sevilleno you must physically remove the battery. If your keyboard works then, it's your battery.

arvin.sevilleno in that case you most likely will have to replace the keyboard.
