Main Aereal Connector 3gs

iPHONE 16gb 3GS

After a botched disassembing of my 16gb 3gs and a ^%$* of a lot of money on new parts i have now discovered that the Main aereal connector at the very bottom of the motherboard is missing, under where the sticker that tells you not to break, is there any repair around or is it a new motherboard?

Hi Mark, under that sticker there is a screw. If you are talking about the antenna connector that hooks to the #7 ribbon then that can be replaced. I have done these before. It is very similar to #6, actually they are the same type. Without it, you will have little or no reception. The board is not junk, I can repair it.
