All brightness adjustment dial blink at the same time

Here's what happened, I used my camera last weekend for a group picture with my friends however all brightness adjustment were blinking at the same time. It still has 1 film though. We've tried many times clicking the shutter, sadly it doesn't work. Same day, after catching up with my friends I've tried opening the battery compartment, I have found out that it leaks. So, I decided to remove the battery and cleaned its compartment. Now, I used the KINGEVER Battery Brand and have tried trouble shooting it like what is suggested on the users manual, however it's still the same. All brightness adjustment still blinks at the same.
