Pencil lead stuck in the reset port, how to disable it?

I was using a mechanical pencil to reset it, and now it resets when you give it a whack. How do I disassemble it and fix this problem?

Use a very small drill bit with your fingers and drill out the graphite.

Wouldn't this just drill out the button?

Is the lead still in it? That was what I was trying to get you to remove.

Yes, I think it still is. I was thinking more on the lines of removing the case, but when I removed it, it would not come apart. The led is below the case, to the side of the button, I think. This happened about a year ago.
