I think I broke the part in my logic board where the wifi chip goes

I was replacing the wifi chip on my iphone six, and I had a lot of trouble getting the wifi chip off, I had a heat gun on it for five minutes straight and it wouldn't come off, so finally i popped it off with a thin tool but in doing so I think I broke the part of my logic board where the wifi chip goes because the old wifi chip ripped off the little metal stubs, that were in the compartment for the wifi chip and when I fluxed the new wifi chip on and put the phone back together there was still no wifi, any advice?

Based on your description, it sounds like you tore the "pads" off the logic board. Depending on which ones and how many, this may be repairable...

Hot air guns are not the proper tool for doing micro-soldering, you need a hot air station. The problem with the guns is that they can deliver too much heat and damage the solder joints or damage the plastic connectors in the surrounding area. In your case, I believe there wasn't enough heat and that's why you had to pry the IC off (that and underfill) and by doing so, you ripped off the pads.

The only possible recourse here is to have this looked at by a professional micro-solderer to see if it is fixable or not. You could also post a good quality picture to let us see the extent of the damage.

Thank you , I tore about 7 of the little metal "pads"off the place where the ic goes everything else is intact, based on this information how much do you think it would cost to fix?( if it is possible to fix without replacing the entire logic board)

A picture is worth a 1000 words ;>). It really depends on which pads are missing.
