Did I break my digitizer?

I had to replace my flex cable on my iPhone 6 to fix my bluetooth/gps problem. But when I put everything back together. I notice about a 5mm on my touch screen doesn't work in the middle. Did I break my digitizer and if so how could I have possible break it when I didn't do any repair on my iPhone.

*Note: I have tried reconnecting the 4 connections and I have taken my iphone apart serveral times before this with no problem.

I found the fix with a similar issue:

Touchscreen acting weird after battery replacement

I had to bend that last cable you pull out or the first on you put back in. When I say bend, I straightened it. Make sure you hear a solid click, not a quite click. This fixed it. Thanks.
