top right corner heats up while screen is on with screen problems

During normal usage my iphone SE's screen is having some grey lines over the texts all of a sudden and the front of the top right corner heats up badly within 10 seconds the screen is on, then the touch screen isn't quite responding, sometimes there are even some stripes.

I read that the screen problem might be fixed by detaching the cable, cleaning it a bit and reconnecting it (correct me if i am wrong), but I am more worried on the heating up part.

Anyone has an idea on this whole problem i am having? Thank you in advance.

The top right corner is right where all the connectors plug to the logic board. If your iPhone has never been previously opened, from your description I would suspect some faulty component in that area. In case it's been repaired earlier some connector might have been misplaced.

One way or the other overheating points to a short to ground which has to be taken care at the earliest.
