I'm having the same trouble but my problem is my phone has a lock password on it, which I can't get passed cuz the keyboard is gone so I can't input my password to unlock the phone and even though Google speak pops up and says tap to speak I'm assuming that because it pertains to the security of my phone, when I tap the microphone to speak nothing happens, need help

I've had to reset my phone after two of my smart phone "experts" couldn't solve this problem. On MY zte (n818) phone, I couldn't find the solution, so I had to go to settings, backup and restore, and reset it to factory.
