Why does the iPhone 7 boot loop after installing a new screen?

Hi All, I installed a new screen on an iPhone 7 and it continuously flashes and looks like it is boot looping, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I got it to go into recovery mode and tried to restore it, but I get error 9 or error 4013. I read Apple is detecting 3rd party screens and can make sure they don't function properly. Not sure if that's true.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

Mitch

Try the old screen again.

Faulty screens can cause this.

Make sure the front camera and home button are plugged into the screen.

I haven't had issues with iPhone 7 boot looping on aftermarket screens on iOS 11.

The old screen is black from being dropped. I was able to attempt a restore from recovery mode, but I got error 9 and 4013 multiple times. Thank you for your response.

Then the NAND memory chip on the logic board needs to be reprogrammed and/or reballed by someone that does microsoldering and has the tool to reprogram it.

I was doing a screen replacement job. I usually test a new screen before going to the trouble of dismantling the old one & transferring the home button and proxy flex over. I tried 4 different screens. The iPhone just got stuck in Apple logo boot. Transferred the home button over & it worked 100%.
