From Green to standby in five seconds
Hi!
I have a panasonic TX p42gt20e and when i turn it on the green light is on for 5 seconds then turns red to standby, i have troubleshooted the handcontrol and all the buttons. So in the next step i opened up the back. I can here 3 sounds, 1. Turn on sound 2. Whisteling sound relating to the noice of the the tv being on. 3. A Strange blop whereafter it turns into resting mode red light. The blop comes from the central upper part of the board.

@oldturkey03 I added some pictures and one video. I am not sure if the thread accepted all of them but atleast the most important Picture is showing now. There are three main pieces on the back. The close up picture is from the centre piece on the top left side. The sound comes from this area. It is quite hard to judge exactly.

@kristofferstenl the capacitors look good and visual inspection doe snot reveal anything unusuauls. the two black rectangualr components on the top left of the images appear appear to be capacitors as well but I will have to check the schematic to see if they could be the issue. The noise could be a transformer issue on that side
