Ghost clicks, digitizer broken?

Hello.

I have a Huawei Honor Pad 2 and I have a ghost/fake clicks problem. Whenever I'm using it and I press somewhere on the screen it clicks somewhere else opening apps that I didn't want to open or doing something I didn't want it to. I haven't tried resetting it because I believe the digitizer is broken since I dropped it a few times.

Now to the real problem: I been looking on internet for quite a while but I literally couldn't find anything about repairing this tablet, no website is selling its digitizer and there are no teardowns and such, so I have no idea what to do.

I noticed that the Huawei MediaPad T1 8 has an extremely similar digitizer design, but I have no idea if it's compatible with my device.

Is there anything I could do?

Thanks for reading!

@alessiov10 it is really important that you identify your device correctly . Is it a Huawei Honor Pad 2 ( JDN-AL00 ) or another model. Offbrand digitizer are very difficult to find and most of those are not compatible with other models. Manufacturers are pretty good about outfitting each model with different parts which makes it difficult to repair. Try Aliexpress etc and see if you can hunt it down.

@oldturkey03 Hi, thanks for your answer. I forgot to mention the model: it is JDN-AL00. I checked aliexpress and it looks like there is something that could do, but I don't really like that site tho..

And what about opening it? I think I have some ideas how to do it but if I could find a tutorial would be great

@alessiov10 Aliexpress is actually pretty good. I've never had issue when purchasing from there. Let's see what we can find out about how to open it.

Honestly if you could manage to find out anything on how to open it it'd be awesome. I've been looking on internet for several hours and websites and couldn't find anything useful. As I said I may have some ideas on how to open it as I've repaired a few phones myself but without a guide I'll take a bigger risk of breaking something as I don't know how it is assembled
