Device twitches and does its own thing after digitiser replacement

Hi guys, after many many iPad repairs over the years this one device is bugging me. Lady brought it to me after she damaged the digitizer. Now I have replaced this a couple times thinking it was a faulty digi etc but still this bug remains.

No matter what I try, once the digitizer is seated and you begin to use the iPad it starts to glitch, twitch and do its own thing. I’ve tried numerous things to minimise where parts could be touching the back of the digitizer etc but still this problem remains.

Anyone have a possible solution??

Options

You aren't squashing the digitizer ribbon cable between the iPad metal frame and glass right? I'm pretty sure it can cause this issue.

Good suggestion...I was also thinking about the bottom of the digi, near the Home button. Perhaps the bottom border isn't properly taped up.
