turning on then loosing picture

Sanyo tv dp50E44. After recent power loss, tv turns on then shortly after looses picture while power light stays on

@beferny when you say "looses picture" you mean it turns off? all Black? you maintain sound? If you turn it off and then immediately back on, do you have the picture right back on? Does your menu show when the picture turns off? What have you checked so far?
