Problem with turning on my laptop?

Hi, so I have a ASUS Transformer Laptop model T100TA-RH11T-CB. I was using it just a day ago, placed it in my backpack and left it there for only a good 10 hours? Maybe. Anyway, I go to turn it on and it doesn't work. Light is off so I assume it's dead and go to charge it, now whenever I press the on button the orange light blinks and then goes back to solid?

Help?

It sounds like your laptop never went into sleep mode and stayed on in a confined space, causing it to overheat and probably throw a thermal overload flag. This happens sometimes if you have a usb mouse and you don't specifically set usb devices to never wake the machine. Mouse moved, turned on the laptop. Bad news for all involved :/.

Try removing the battery, waiting about 30 seconds, then hit the power button on the laptop (with the battery still removed). Then put the battery back in the laptop and try charging.
