Richard Young what you have is a bad DMD chip in the light engine. Apparently this is a common issue with the Mitsu TV series. Only way to repair this, is by replacing the DMD board or the DLP chip. The replacement board for your TV is a Mitsubishi BK.80L88.21G (00.L8821G001) but the DLP chip is the same. it is a Mitsubishi 276P595010. It is available at places like this and others. Use this video to help you with the installation
