Turntable will not work even after I replaced the motor.
I ordered and replaced the turntable motor and it still will not work. Is there some way to test the power to the motor? GE Profile JEM31SF-01

Robert Campbell did you check the coupling to make sure that it was properly connected with the motor. I believe you access the motor on this one by removing the bottom panel . You can check with the microwave running if you get power to the motor. It is a 21V AC motor. If you do not get that voltage then you most likely have a bad controller. Do a voltage check first.

Is there a tolerance on that 21VAC? I'm getting 23VAC, which is within 10%. The note that came with the new motor mentions 60VAC as an indicator of a bad capacitor.
@kelticgnome this "60VAC as an indicator of a bad capacitor." sounds odd. The 23VAC would be okay but if it is expected to show 60VAC on the motor based on a bad capacitor, that would be strange and not sure the motor would survive that.
