Issues with Home and Power Button

I replaced the glass digitizer. In the process accidentally ripped off the Wifi/Bluetooth antenna. I replaced that and the glass but for some reason when I reassembled everything, the home and power button are not functional (only to turn on but not to wake or sleep). The volume and mute button still work fine.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

From what I can tell, no nothing else looks out of sorts. Would you like pictures to make sure I'm not over looking anything?

if the volume buttons work but the power button does not you have likely torn through the cable on the top right hand corner of the iPad when letting the digitiser, it can be replaced following this guide..

The home button is not working either. Do you think I may have messed up something there as well? This is my first time attempting to repair an iPad. My apologies.

You can also turn off the lock/unlock feature by going to Settings - Display & Brightness - Then turn off Lock/Unlock. This should allow your sleep/wake button to work again.

If you want to actually fix that feature, you will need to replace the power/volume flex as rayeasom mentioned.
