My phone is overheating and rapidly dying

My phone is overheating and dying fast also the touch ID has stopped working, it heats up to where it burns when I touch it and dies 3% at a time. I dropped it in water could that be why? It has been 2 months since it happened and I got it repaired and I've gotten several new batteries. Anyone know why it's doing this?

Yeah. It's probably cause you dropped it in water. You can remove the logic board and clean it with 90% isopropyl alcohol. What it really wants is to be removed and have the shields taken off and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath

After you've cleaned you'll probably want a new battery. With that being said I would just wildly imagine that you have a blown cap on vcc_main. The phone works. But not exactly as it's supposed to do

Depends on the shop. We all have different prices. I charge $90 with a new battery
