Cut cables in headband

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless

My name's Allen and I bought these headphones a while ago and let my friend borrow them (BIG MISTAKE) not only did he break the body that connects the ear cup to the frame he also managed to cut the cable that runs outside the headband (THEY DESIGNED IT THAT WAY). Now I want to know can I somehow take these apart and fix the cable because I haven't seen any tutorials on how to splice audio cables in the headband only how to splice jacks...or am I out of luck.

I presume you have a soldering iron. If not, go buy a cheap one. they are not very expensive and will pay for it self in repairs. I also suggest heat shrink, but electrical tape works too. Now yes, those wires are VERY tiny and delicate, but you can do it. Here is a vid on how to splice wires. and this goes for any wires.

Best of luck! And try not to pull out your hair when you break the cable in the process XD
