Tire pressure light stays on

I recently had my tires rotated and the pressure checked. A week goes by and a cold front comes through. Light comes on and stays on. Might be the spare is low, the pressure is not correct or a faulty sensor.

I checked all tires for nails and screws. No flat even after driving around for a full day.

Where is this reset button?

Did you use a can of flat fixer in one of your tires? If you have you likely killed one of the sensors otherwise one of the sensors is bad. There is no reset, you need to find the bad unit.

Here's a good write-up: How to Troubleshoot a Tire-Pressure Monitoring System how they work and how to check each unit one by one.

Ok. Thanks. Never used fix-a-flat. But good to know.

Anita K. the tire pressure does change during colder climate. Just because you visually checked your tires does not mean that the pressure is not triggering the low pressure light. Inflate all tires to their recommended pressure and then recheck your light.

@oldturkey03 - Good point! If the tires where warm when she check them. If she retests and if needed re-inflates them hopefully the alarm goes off.
