Can a GPS screen be repaired? Screen is dim in bright sunlight

GPS Screen is difficult to see in bright sunlight. At night or evening, there is no problem. Adjusting Brightness feature does not adjust enough to compensate for bright sunlight.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Not really, if it was a cheap one, like I have a 5 year old tomtom doing the same thing, it is almost impossible and most places don't do it. But, if it is one of those $100-$2000 dollar one then yes. On those you may even be able to do it yourself. The reason cheap ones are hard to fix is they have those cheap old styled LCD screens, with built in pressure recognition system.those are pretty hard to fix, but it might be worth it to check. On the newer ones with a hard, solid display, it is pretty easy since they have lees things to disassemble, and places are normally willing to do them.

I hope this helps.
