I am unable to charge my iphone 6s as the phone is not able to hold charge and is stuck at the apple logo, further it is not opening up or functioning? Please tell how to fix it?

I think we need to take a step back here. What happened to the phone prior to this; was it dropped, repaired or came into contact with water?
Not charging and not holding a charge are contradictory. If I understand your question, the phone won't go past the Apple logo. Is it looping or does it just stay there and eventually turn off?
The only way to know if it is charging is to use a USB Ammeter. You could have a dead or bad battery, the iPhone 6S is known for this. I would check this site for more details. You could also try to replace the battery yourself or bring it to a shop so they can troubleshoot the problem.
