Asus Wifi connection Issues

Brand new Asus Q524. It's beautiful. But, Edge is almost completely useless. All other devices on our network running fine(verizon hotspots). It took many hours but I finally got Chrome to install. Chrome runs exponentially better than Edge but still not as well as other much older devices. Downloads are snail paced. It's not that it won't connect but it won't connect like other devices on our network. Also, it won't recognize my tmobile hotspot. Asus says to send it back but I really want to avoid that. I have uninstalled the network adaptor driver, cleared the ip log and followed just about every piece of advice to clear up the network connection and nothing has helped.

Browsing in chrome is working mostly as expected now. Downloads and Edge are not. Took over half a day to get chrome to work with many failed attempts. Please help!!

Hi @shylajobe ,

Try installing the latest Asus WLAN Win 10 drivers applicable to your laptop's WLAN vendor.

Take heed of the Notes near the top of the page in the link regarding the installation of the drivers.

Also try installing a WiFi scanner program, (this one is free) and then using it to view information regarding your network such as signal level detected by your laptop etc. It may be that you have a hardware problem with the WLAN card
