I was wondering if the parts inside the Xbox One Elite (Wireless) Controller are interchangeable with Xbox One Controller parts or do I have to buy specific parts for this controller.

I think the only parts on the elite you can add are the interchangeable paddles. On the back you can see 4 slots for them (p1, p2 etc.) they help you get a better grip. And no, the parts are not interchangeable.

Yes most of the parts are interchangeable, except the mainboard (the one with the potentiometers on it) and the sister board (the one that is still attached to the back plate when opening).
