Screen goes from normal to blue and touch not responding

Basically I've had my SE for over a year now and I've dropped it so many times and nothing happened until I dropped it 3 weeks ago. The phone had suffered worse falls than that and it survived them.

Now the phone turns on and I can see my screen and everything for a second or two and then it goes to the purple and white lines and I can't do anything.

The phone vibrates and the home button works but the touchscreen doesn't respond.

Gave it to an IT technician at work to try and open it up see what's wrong with it, if any cables or things are loose on the inside but he said it was all good.

Please help because I'm trying to avoid giving it to apple or someone to repair for a lot of money as I can't afford it right now.

Thanks

Are you 100% sure? Thanks!

Assuming your IT guy is qualified to determine the proper seating of the display and digitizer cables, yeah, pretty sure.

Your LCD has been damaged when you dropped it and so has the digitiser, fit a new screen and this will resolve all your issues.
