LCD screen broken and needs replacing
Having problem sourcing new screen. Does anyone know is the screen from SX530 & the SX540 interchangeable

I'm afraid I can't tell you the answer but while you're wondering, put a watch on eBay for SX540 spares or repair, and with a bit of luck, before long one will turn up with a good screen but lens error or some other fault. My expertise is with the SX200IS but I suspect swapping the screen on a SX540 is just as easy.

I checked out the ifixit repair for the SX530 and it looks straight forward enough.
