Samsung tv turned purple

I am not sure if its the right place to post my issue...

I boughet a tv 2 days ago on ebay, its Samsung le37b650t2w, the screen had dimming from day 1 , i looked it up and fixed it by changing from Dynamic to Movie mod and turning the Energy saver to off.

Today i turned on the tv on radio for like 6-7 hours, i turn back to a channel and everything is glowing purple (sometimes blue and green) i have been googling it ever since all i could read and see is that T con board is probably broken or have a failure, but i am not quite sure about it since the other cases is not exactly like mine.

@saeedmuhaisen looks solarized to me. It could be the Main board but I would definitely start with the T-con board (possibly bad Gamma IC)

How can i be 100% sure about that? is there a way to know which part is causing it? the problem suddenly start, and + if i turn off the tv for like 10 min and start it back on the colors go back to the normal , then maybe after 1 minute they get broken or shinning again ! i reached a way to remove most of the colors by playing with the settings the only way is to make the picture really dark and mix some colors together.

Perhaps this wouldn't work if the main board is broken ? or what do you think!

@saeedmuhaisen the only way to determine this would be by trying it out. Get a T-con board from a place where you can return it. Replace the board and if that has not changed it will be the Main board.

Now if you have a multimeter and possibly an oscilloscope you could probably figure it out by checking the components output on the boards.

If i could somehow get a multimeter , is it enough to figure it out? And what exactly i am going to test? which parts ?

I also have an update, i lowered White balance in the tv and putted the Brightness to max and got good results , https://imgur.com/a/QusZn , there is still tho an issue with the colors , like for example yellow shows as light green , and silver is glowing purple , but at least i can watch something on the tv without losing my eyes :D

Looks better. To get the schematics we would need to see your boards and get the numbers of those. For now, if you want to at least use it, leave it and see if you can get a new T-con board
