Why my phone becomes lag and stuck?

Hi. Currently i have a samsung galaxy note 5 that almost 2 years old. Right now every two or three days it will lagging and stuck. i need to wipe data and flash back the firmware each time the problem occurs. Is it due to the motherboard ? Im still using official firmware each time i flash it
