Why won't it restore or sync.

I have tried all of Apples instructions on how to restore and then sync. computer says the sync is completed. Ipod says there is no songs. Then I get a message which says that there is a block from another app. Is it possible that at one time I tried to sync when the comp was running another app. ?

Options

Try doing a "Force Quit" if you're on a Mac to see what other program may be interfering. Force quit is Command - Option - Escape
