iMac Vsync Cable Mismatch
My iMac 27inch Mid 2010 2.93GHz Core i7 (Model A1312-BTO/CTO EMC: 2390
I replaced the LCD Power board and now I have a mismatched VSYNC cable. The cable coming from the LCD is a few wires with a 4pin connector unlike the other temperature cables. The LCD board appears to be a ribbon cable?
Does the LCD panel have a way to remove the VSYNC cable from the other end? and if so how would I go about attaching the ribbon cable. Or is it unfortunate that i would just have to buy a new LCD power board that matches the VSYNC cable?
Thanks in advance for your help!

This is what I see.
Is this a good question?

jea508 what do you refer to as the LCD power board? Do you mean the LED driver board or the graphics card?

Oldturkey03, Maybe I miss typed what i meant. It could be called the LED driver board. It's the board on the bottom left, about 6" long and about 5" wide. It's the board you are supposed to plug the vysnc cable into on the iMac.

Hi Justin,
I have just done the same thing. Currently the iMac is working without it connected. Did you ever find an answer to this problem?
