Fix a 3 cell Ion battery MSI GS73VR notebook

hello everyone,

I'm a proud Ifixit kit and unfortunately, I've encountered a problem with my new MSI notebook's battery.

It seems that one of the 10 wires that are coming out of the battery is torn, or more acurately removed from it slot.

Screenshot or it didnt happen-

Do you think it is possible to fix it, Instead of sending it to the manufacturer?

Thanks a lot!

@idobr it might be possible but you do want to be careful when you work on the battery. You definitely do not want to damage/puncture it in any way. You will have to remove the battery and remove the tape on the back to get to the circuitry. Then see if you can identify where that particular wire is supposed to go. Looking at your image, it seems to be cut so there should be another end on the board. Post some images once you removed the backing of the battery and get to see the batteries circuitry. Again, be extremely careful when working on this. If you do not have the right tools or are unsure of doing this, don't! Buy a new battery instead.
