Tv has no sound

Turned tv on, everything seems to work but lost sound. Tv only 14months old.

Checked everything as much as i can without opening back just yet.

Check whether you have connected the input cords correctly. In some TV, you can find the labeled input cords at the back of the TV.

@scottspeed you first ant to make sure that all of your settings are properly adjusted and you do not have a mute anywhere. Then you wan to test all different inputs to see if they are all the same (HDMI Composite etc.). If you use a set top box to connect your cable reset that as well. If all of those check out, connect an external speaker or sound bar and see if that works. If still no luck, you will have to pen your TV and check the main board, speakers etc. Post some images of your boards, wiring etc. with your question so we can see what you see,. Of course, before you do any of this you want to check to see if this is covered under any kind of warranty. If so then use that to get it fixed.

Audio wasnt workin on pc so tried checking if it was the PC after a bit of troubleshooting, i checked the tv

Played somethin on amazon, sound was still not working, tried turning it off and on again, a few times

Until…

fix(for me)

Just turned it off and on again (at the plug socket), apparently there was an update, that seemed to fix it
