Phone stuck in recovery loop after attempted iOS11 update.

Attempted update...The back up was corrupted. Update fails and phone is stuck in recovery loop. Errors are on Apple site but only described generally. Provided solutions all fail. Also seeing "USB not compatible" error intermittently after issue occurred. Tried numerous lightning cables, also hooked it up to several different pc's with itunes. All attempts fail.......Apple Store advised that phone cannot be restored. Ended up buying new device, but "lost" several months worth of pictures and music due to the corrupted backup....CAN I SAVE THE PICS OFF OF THE OLD DEVICE? IS THERE A WAY TO FORCE MY WAY INTO IT AND RESET IT AFTERWARDS?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Surprised people don't backup their data before they go on beta.

It's highly unlikely that you will be able to regain any information that was on the device. Most of the time when these issues arise the information is already gone. The battery or charging port may be going out and that might be why it won't pull it out of the boot loop. I would try taking to a repair shop and see if a new battery or charging port gets it up and going. But be prepared for your information to already be gone though.

I found a program some time ago called iExplore. https://macroplant.com/iexplorer It allows you to look at everything on the phone and also backups on your computer. It's possible you could get the photos out of the backup but it may be too corrupted. I think you can try out iExplore before buying so it's worth a shot.
