My LG tv 55UF6800 is flickering when watching cable TV or Netflix. When LG menu screen is being used, the menu portion will not flicker. Can you please give me advice on how to fix this problem?

@raytorres519 sounds like a Main board issue. Check to see if the flickering happens on all inputs. Check Coax HDMI Compostie etc.

Chainsaw...let me guess why...still lots of cleanup required I guess.
As for questions, not much on the iPhone front today.
Yeah got a couple of more trees that need to come down. Starting with some more repairs this week once insurance and FEMA did their walk around. I was told not to repair anything until they showed up. Definitely still a mess but we are getting there.

@shails same model TV? Same issue? did you check your main board? Connections etc?
Having the same problem as most when watching Netflix or Amazon, the bottom third of screen would have a horizontal bar that flickered constantly making it hard to watch a program. My son came in and grabbed the TV remote, went to settings, picture, and selected back light function and changed setting from 19 to 17 and the bar and flickering went away. Hope this works for some that are having the same problem.

Thanks for replying. It happens during all inputs and I also tried a different hdmi cable.

It happens on my PC too. Display works normal when HDMI is attached and I can see both screens without a flicker. As soon as I play Netflix video, display flickers

Yep me too.. blacks flicker in large vertical blocks
